Sir, I am studying B.Tech through Mechanical stream and after it want to join JRF course. Please tell me how much marks required in GATE to join JRF?

GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This is All India competitive entrance examination for Master of Technology. Students who secure good rank in this examination get admission in top engineering colleges like Indian Institute of Technology or National Institute of Technology or other government engineering colleges and receive stipend during whole duration of GATE exam.

If you manage to score more than 40 marks in GATE exam which is of 100 marks, you will definitely qualify this entrance exam and get admission in good college. For admission in Master of technology in top IITs, your score should be above 60 marks for opne category candidates.

If you want to join Junior Research Fellowship, you need to apply for National Eligibility Test. NET is conducted for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship. You can become eligible for NET exam after post graduation in technology.
