If you have passed your Master's with 55% from recognized university then you can apply for NET exam 2015. Candidate age should not be more than 28 years if applying for Junior Research Fellowship. There is no upper age limit for assistant professor.

Yes, you can apply for NET exam being an MCA student. You can apply for Computer Science and Application as a subject in NET exam.

- Online application form submission : 1st Oct. 2015.

- Last date for filling online form : 1st Nov. 2015.

- Last date of submission of fess: 2nd Nov. 2015.

- Correction of particulars of application form on the website: 9th to 14th Nov. 2015.

MCA students are eligible for UGC NET exam in Computer Application subject.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.

**Eligibility for NET~~>

-You must have completed Mater degree(PG) in any steam from recognized university with minimum of 55% marks (50% for ST/SC/PH/Females)

-Final year students are also eligible

-The candidates appearing for JRF should not be above 28 years of age.

-The candidates appearing only for lectureship have no upper age limit.

-Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST/OBC or physically disabled or women or visually handicapped.

NET is national eligibility test. Basically this is an entrance exam which is conducted by the UGC for the post of Lectureship and JRF.

The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in this entrance exam is, to have a master degree in any stream from a recognised university with minimum 55% marks in the aggregate.

There is age limitations for the JRFs.It is max upto 27 years. For the Lectureship there is no age limit.

I had done my graduation in Hospitality & Hotel administration from IHM-Bsc[hospitality & hotel administration] and did my Post Graduation in computer application.Am I eligible to appear for NET exam??!
