MCA student can appear in NET exam for which subject? Date of examination?
I am a MCA from Anna university 2015 batch.Can i appear for net exam.?
If so when is the next exam date & what is the subjects? |

**Yes, you should write NET exam after MCA to get into teaching profession

It is conducted twice in a year. **Eligibility for NET~~> -You must have completed Mater degree(PG) in any steam from recognized university with minimum of 55% marks (50% for ST/SC/PH/Females) -Final year students are also eligible -The candidates appearing for JRF should not be above 28 years of age. -The candidates appearing only for lectureship have no upper age limit. -Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST/OBC or physically disabled or women or visually handicapped. **NET is conducted by UGC 2 time in a year (June and December). **You can Apply On-Line in April or November. |

Yes of course MCA student can apply for the NET exam.
NET is national eligibility test. Basically this is an entrance exam which is conducted by the UGC for the post of Lectureship and JRF. The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in this entrance exam is, to have a master degree in any stream from a recognised university with minimum 55% marks in the aggregate. There is age limitations for the JRFs.It is max upto 27 years. For the Lectureship there is no age limit. |
