Hi friend,

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The candidates will be given for M.tech. This exam will be conducted once in a year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Candidate should have completed Graduation on Engineering with any stream.

2.candidate who are pursuing final year of Graduation course in Engineering can also apply for this exam.

3.Candidate who are pursuing prefinal year of Engineering course are not eligible to apply this exam.

4.Candidate should have no minimum percent marks required for this exam.

5.There is no age criteria to apply for this exam.

6.One can apply for this exam at any age if he fulfill is no limit on the number of attempts for GATE exam.

This formula is different from the one used earlier. After the declaration of the results, a GATE Scorecard will be issued to all the candidates of a paper whose marks are equal to or above the qualifying marks of SC/ST/PD candidates in that paper. There is no provision for the issue of Additional GATE scorecard.

The GATE 2013 Committee with the NCB’s approval has the authority to decide the qualifying mark for each GATE paper. In case any claim or dispute arises in respect of GATE 2013, it is hereby made absolutely clear that the Courts and Tribunals in Mumbai and Mumbai alone shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to entertain and settle any such dispute or claim.

The Minimum marks required to qualify the Gate is depend upon the year and branch.
But If you set Your cut-off as 35 then It is better to study.
Fix the cut-off and try to do the problems which you can earn morethan 35 marks.
Then You can defenitely win.
