Educational Qualification: If you wish to give this exam then you need to be a higher secondary passed out student or its equivalent from a recognized school or institution. In addition to that you need to secure minimum 60% of marks at grad level. OBC candidates needs to get 50% of marks and SC/ST candidates needs to get 45% of marks in aggregate. Age Criteria: The minimum age limit for giving this exam is 18 years. The upper age limit is 27 years for general category candidates. Age Relaxation: There is age relaxation for the following category: ~SC/ST Candidates: 5 yrs. ~OBC Candidates: 3 yrs. ~PWD Candidates: 10 yrs. Proficiency in Local Language: To avoid any communication problem with the residents of the concerned of the postal circle you need to be well versed in the local language of that State. This will help you to carry out out job smoothly. Even if you know hindi or have studied hindi at matriculation level or above then that will help too. That can be used as a common language to communicate freely. It is known to all as that is the official language of our country. Exam Pattern: For the exam you need to stress on the following sections: General Knowlege, Mathematics, English and Reasoning. There will be five papers to solve and 25 marks each have been alloted for each paper and the same number of questions will be there in each paper. You will also have to sit for a computer test or typing test as well in addition to the above mentioned written exam. The duration of the exam will be of 30 minutes maximum. Postal Assistant Examination Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must be Indian Educational Qualification : Candidates must be complete Higher Secondary education (OR) any equivalent from a recognized University Age Limit : Candidates age limit between 18 to 27 years The upper age relaxation as per govt rules 10 years age relaxation for OBC Candidates 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates 3 years age relaxation for OBC Candidates |

Hai,
Eligibility details about Postal assistant:- The applicant must have to complete 12th standard with atleast 60% of marks from any recognised board or university. The applicant must be an INDIAN origin. The age limits are 18 years to 27 years, Relaxation:- 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates. Iam also attached the previous year postal assistant question papers. Best of luck. |
