Is nda exam held two times in a year.if held then at which monthes in the year.I am going to appear for NDA exam ?

Admission to NDA is conducted twice a year. The admission process includes a written examination, multiple round interviews, Group Tasks and a Medical Test. There are about 350 vacancies for which the entrance is conducted and a large number of candidates from across the India appear for NDA exam therefore getting selected in considered really tough.

the written test is in the month of april and august...
the april session has already passed and next exam is on 21-august 2011 for which the application date has passed so you have to apply for the next year....
don't forget that your age must be between 16.5 - 19 years...

This Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in month of april and August for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA.

Age Limits: Only unmarried male candidates born whose age 16.5 to 19 are
eligible.

Educational Qualifications :-For Army wing of National Defence Academy: 12th
Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Yes NDA exam is conducted twice a year by UPSC in April and August months for 12th Science passed students for selection into Arm, Navy and Air Force.

You can apply only now in October-November for April session as the August session has been completed.

The National Defense Academy exam is conducted twice a year and both has been named as NDA I and NDA II.

NDA I is usually conducted in the month of April every year. The notification for the NDA I is published during the month of October-November.

NDA II is usually conducted in the month of August every year. The notification for the NDA II is published during the month of March-April.

The application forms are available at post offices and head post offices throughout the country as soon as the notification is published by UPSC.

The online application form will be available at www.upsconline.nic.in.

- NDA-I, and
- NDA-II

NDA-I is conduct in the month of April.

YES!!! The NDA exam is conducted twice a year in the months of june and august...

the other details:

1. u must be a 12th passed or a candidate having a equal certification form the state board!!

2. AGE: 16 and a half to 19 yrs.

3. must be a subject of india.

NDA exam information.

National Defence Academy (NDA) is the joint service academy in the field of defence services. NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service commission (UPSC) twice in a year once in the month of April and other in the month of August for the admission in the Indian army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA.

To appear in the NDA examination you need the following eligibility criteria :
Educational Qualification = Pass 12th class or equivalent examination conducted by state education board or University or Central education board. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th std. examination can also apply for this examination.
Age Limit = The age must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years at the time of appearing of this examination.

Note :- Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for the NDA exam.

If you satisfy the above eligibility criteria then you are eligible to apply for the NDA examination. You can apply online on the website :- http://www.upsconline.nic.in. In this year the submission of application form for NDA exam ia already over now you can apply in the next year.

No this exam is conducted only once a year. Normally around March or April there will be a notification from UPSC. The exam is held around the last week of August. You should not have crossed 19 years by that time. If you are eligible you can now try for the 2012 exam.

Pattern of NDA Entrance Examination

The subjects of the written examination,

• Mathematics 01 300
• General Ability 02 600

The time allowed

• Mathematics----2 1/2 hours
• General Ability-- 2 1/2 hours

and the maximum marks allotted subject

• Total Marks - 900

The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.
The question papers of MATHEMATICS AND PART "b" OF GENERAL ABILITY TESTS will be set BILINGUALLY IN HINDI AS WELL AS English.

The Commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects at the examination. and depending upon different criteria like number student appear or any other criteria they fix qualifying marks........

but better to bring minimum 300 for NDA exam...

Yes NDA exam is conducted twice in year by upsc.They release two notification as NDA-I and NDA-II.

NDA-I notification will release in the month of Oct/November and this exam will held on April month.
NDA-II notification will release in the month of April/May and this exam will held on August month.

Yes NDA exam is conducted twice a year. Once in April and once in August.
For current year's NDA examination held on 17/04/2011, the notification came out on 16/10/2010. For the exam to be held on 21/08/2011, notification came out on 09/04/2011.
So this year you wouldn't be able to any of the exams, so better luck for next year.

its true that NDA exams are conducted twice a year...
usually it is conducted in the month of march to april.. and October to November... but the applying date is usually before that month so u better check the the website www. entrance.ibse.com/nda/notification...

for these year the exam was conducted on 30th of june...

some of the basic requirements are u should pass class 12 of recognised university and for air force and naval wings mathematics and physics are necessary...

most importantly u should be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission int NDA..

the NDA exam held twice in a year in the months of april and august. The age limit for NDA exam is 16.5 to 19 years. You should not be over than 19 years at the time of starting of training.
