Re: Is it necessary to do higher studies to work as scientist in ISRO?
yes higher studies is of utmost importance...You need to do a research in your field ...you can only do it by doing M.tech or any other masters' degree...this will help you become a scientist in ISRO..

It is not necessary to go for higher studies in order to apply in ISRO.there are posts of Scientist engineer for which the minimum qualification is BE/B.Tech or equivalent in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters). As an mechanical Engineer you can apply in ISRO.

Re: Is it necessary to do higher studies to work as scientist in ISRO?
To join ISRO as a Scientist/Engineer a candidate must have BE/B.Tech or equivalent with an aggregate of 65%. This is the basic requirement for joining ISRO along with the written test and interview conducted by the organization. You can go for higher studies, but not required for the selection process of scientist in ISRO.

Re: Is it necessary to do higher studies to work as scientist in ISRO?
Yes, it is a must to do higher studies to work in ISRO. After doing M.Sc. you can join there at a lower post to work as a scientist you must be Ph.D.
Ph.D. holders can work there as a junior scientist. |

Re: Is it necessary to do higher studies to work as scientist in ISRO?
No dear it is not necessary to study further because you may enter in isro on the basis of b. tech only but yes it is almost true that after entering into field you may be suggested to continue your study to enhance your research approach pay scale that will be offered to you 8000-13000 for be/b tech/ msc
and 10000- 15200 for me/ m tech. but as per my suggestion i will suggest you to go for higher studies if you really want to go in research area. all the best |

Re: Is it necessary to do higher studies to work as scientist in ISRO?
no not at all no need to have higher studies to join in ISRO but to directly become a scientist you have to show an M.TECH specialised degree
but if you approach through b tech u will first join as an assistant engineer then after gaining experience you will become senior engineer and then follows the post of a junior scientist but if you approach isro with m.tech degree then you'll directly get with a junior scientist job for further details log on to www.isro.gov.in all the best ~aditya~ |
