Is it necessary to do Ph.D after clearing UGC NET exam?


is it necesary to do phd after clearing ugc net exam...Please give me the details for the same

No, its not necessary to do Ph.D degree after clearing UGC NET exam.

UGC NET exam is conducted for lectureship post and JRF post.

So if you are qualified in JRF post then you can do Ph.D from any Indian University.

If you are qualified in lectureship post then you can apply lectureship post in any government college.
