Bank Probation Exam, you mean Bank Probationary Officer Examination generally conducted by State Bank of India(SBI) and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection).

There is no need of 10+2 marks required for P.O. exam, one is is eligible for P.O. exam after Graduation Degree.

The eligible candidate aspiring for SBI/IBPS P.O. exam, must be an Indian National having Completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good command over computer operation.

Some private bank have percentage of marks criteria in Graduation level ranging from more than 50% to 60% for application to P.O. Exam.

For the Bank PO post there is no need of the 60% marks in 12th because for these post candidates must have graduate with 60% aggregate. Even not for the PO post, the IBPS from the last year allowed to fill the bank clerical post also on the basis of the graduation marks not on the basis of the 12th percentage.

So for the Bank PO or clerical post you must have graduate.

For the Bank PO job your marks in 12th are not important but the marks of graduation course are considered. No matter whether you are appearing for the IBPS or the State Bank of India PO exam.

For the Bank PO entrance exam your qualification should be graduation and you will have to meet the percentage criteria required in the graduation course. Otherwise you will not be able to appear.

The marks in 12th as well 10th are not considered at all. There are two major Bank PO entrance exams. One is conducted by the State Bank of India which is the largest bank of the country. Second is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS) for the 19 nationalized banks.

SBI Bank PO Eligibility

1. You should have Bachelor's degree.

2. Minimum of 65 percent marks in it.

3. 5 percent relaxation for SC/ST.

4. Basic computer operating skills are required.

5. Age limit is 21 to 30 years for the exam.

6. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

7. Relaxation is 5 years for the SC/ST.

IBPS Bank PO Eligibility

2. You should have 60 percent marks in graduation.

3. A certificate in Computer Operating Skills.

4. You can also appear if Computer Science/IT was subject during school or college.

5. The age limit is 20 to 28 years for the IBPS exam.

6. up to 3 years relaxation for OBC.

8. 10 years relaxation for PWD.
