Is NET examination compulsory for doing PhD?

Hi, I have attempted NET examination two times but not qualified both the times. How I can go for PhD now? I have passed my M.A. Can I get admission in any UGC recognized universities for PhD directly on the basis of MA without NET or any other entrance ?

Default Re: Is NET examination compulsory for doing PhD?

You are eligible to get admission in the Ph.D course without qualifying in the NET.

The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university.

The required minimum aggregate is 55% in master degree.

So, you are eligible to get admission in the course without qualifying in the NET.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
