Re: A non-medical student can pursue GNM course?
GNM stands for General Nursing and Midwifery. Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery is an undergraduate Nursing course. The duration of GNM course is 3.5 years.
For GNM course candidate must have 12th passed from a recognized board with a Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. The minimum percentage required for open category is 45% and for SC/ST category is 40%. As per my knowledge 5% relaxation is permitted to SC/ST students for GNM course. The age of candidate must be in between 17 to 35 years. I am sorry to say without a Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects you are not eligible to do General Nursing and Midwifery course. |
