Is Non Technical question compulsory in PSU's like BEL, NTPC, BHEL, BSNL? What are the qualifying marks in non technical portion?
is non technical questions are compulsury in psu like bel, ntpc, bhel , bsnl ,etc.? I want to know that qualifying marks in non technical portion are required in psu like bel, ntpc, bhel, bsnl ,etc?

Around 80% PSU's now recruit through GATE exam.
It is the Graduate Aptitude test in engineering and in that exam there is no non-technical part. The composition of GATE exam is - 15% Aptitude - 15% mathematics - 70% rest technical subjects of relevant trade. So, here you can see, non- technical portion like - geography, - history, - polity, - general studies, - life science, - current affairs have no weight age. Also, there is no sectional cutoff in the GATE exam so you don't need to worry about the separate cutoff of the aptitude section also. |
