IOCL: its calls people for the interview on the basis of your gate rank,you can apply for it from 10th january 2011,
hpcl:its conducts its own exam,for all the other details refer employment nes dated 2/10/2010

some of them company recruit through GATE like IOCL and conducted its own exam by on campus for IIT and NIT and off campus so you wil have to apply for GATE and for other exam see www.freshersworld.com and www.123engg.com

there is not a fixed date for examination.keep regular viewing of daily newspaper you will be noticed that.for 2011 recruitment all the psu exam start from MAR-APR 2011.

prepare for that.

by the way IOC is taking from gate rank holders.
