hi.. im asking this out of full desperation.
i have scored very low marks in 12th (57%)
im currently doing MCA(final yr)..really its hard to say i m having 72% in 10th std, ug with 80% and currently pg with 78%..but due to low marks in 12th i cant able to enter in any campus interviews,i m feeling very disappointment..i m having good programming knowledge, surely i will get job if i enter into the interviews..pls help me..how can i approach the companies??

Thats so unfortunate. You have shown vast improvement by getting such good marks in UG as well as PG. Its really a great feat and I would like to salute you. But the problem lies here is that 12th percent criteria. Damn! some companies are too rude when it comes to the eligibility criteria for their campus placement.

I would suggest you not to take any tension about it. You are a well deserving candidate and you will get a deserving job.

Since you said you have good programming skills then let me tell you that software companies mostly looks for the students programming knowledge. If your knowledge is really great then they can ignore the 12th percentage

Apply for all possible companies.

However I would request you to apply for the companies which one by one on campus as well as offcampus. Some companies do have a criteria where they ask more than 55% in 12th. So you can try a search over such companies.

Rest dont get disapointed. Work hard for your interview and if you get a chance then try to show them how much you have improved from you past.

You can search for the companies offering 55% as cut off and then shift for bigger companies having a experience certificate in hand which will help you overcome your problem.keep working brother,never give up.

Dont warry,you have very a good percentage in 10,UG and PG,but your 12 percentage is a little less than requirement of companies...

I suggest you that you may apply for those company,whose critaria is 55% in 12th level,i know you are a very confident guy,if you get an oppurtunity you can utilize it,but one think keep in mind that your percentage graph is not even,HR can ask for it,so you can create a logical excuse to face those questions in interview...

Dear friend yes it is very unfortunate about your 12th class marks but you are good enough in 10th,ug and pg...so don't worry it is not like that every company consider 12th class marks there are many company who consider either 10th and pg or only your pg marks so just to well in your MCA .........

If you have done your 12th class in CBSE syllabus then company giver relaxation of 5% in percentage....so that also a good chance........

I just want to say that yes you are not eligible to sit in campus placement for many companies like TCS, and other MNC's but it is mean that you are not eligible for all company.
there are many company in which you can sit for Placement so you will have to try for these company.

yes most of the companies need a minimum of 60%throughout education life.I sought of feel its total injustice by being so strict about 10th and 12th scores,though they are important.
well you don have to worry.all what you got to do is to apply into as many companies as possible and it would be best if you have some reference in some company,then this 12th issue can be sorted out.well all the best

HELLO,nice to hear about your percentage in UG & PG.listen today corporate world need talent that can make him/her propular alongwith company popularity.if you have talent then no longer you can be ignored.if you want to groom your carrier then you can do MBA(specialized).for that you can take CAT(common admission test) & can complete your MBA from renowned & prestigious college in india.after MBA you will have more opportunities for groom your carrier.

After you cannot sit in campus recruitment there is no any end of world and there are many other ways too.
Though the path is little tough for you as compared to others.
So if you are really talented you will surely proove yourself in the field and get your deserving positio.
So need not to worry and look out for other ways of getting your first job

I want to suggest you that .... first apply for some low level companies and when you have gained some experience , then apply for some good company.

yes you cant even appear for the interviews of these big companies like tcs,infosys and show your talents.
the only way is that go and commit sucide,

well you can approach your placement cell to ask them to invite companies which have liberal criterias,,, then you can also try for off campus placements.. do not trouble yourself by thinking too much and worrying about big companies... smaller companis have liberal criteria... so go for them, then after 3-4 years of workex you can get jobs with biggies as well as and in fact in senior positions....many companies ask for 55% scores you'll have good chance.

hi!!!! I have completed my BE in CSE and i'm good in software testing but the problem is i have scored very low percentage in 10th only 47% but in 12th and UG i have scored 78 and 70% so for me 10th is a problem. Pls refer some companies wer 10th percentage is not taken into account.
