what is the nmber of of seats available in bit- sat and what is the eligibility?

am sending you the brouchure of bits pilani in that you can get the complete info regarding the eligiblity and total number of seats.

Ias and ies exams requires any particular eye sight

BITSAT stands for Birla Institute of Technology and science aptitude Test.

This exam is conducted to getting admission in their institute in various courses.

This exam is conducted by BITs every year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ;

For admission in BITS the candidate should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

And, the candidate should have minimum of 80% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination,

And at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English.

However, admissions will be made only on his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT exam.

Only Students who are appearing for 12th class examination now on wards or who have passed the 12th class examination in the past are eligible to appear for BITSAT exam.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani conducts BITSAT every year for admission into various Undergraduate Courses.

You must have passed 10+2 with 75% marks and 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths if you want to apply for BITSAT.

Examination Pattern:

The exam will be of 3 hours duration and there will be 150 objective type questions.

The questions will be from following subjects.

-Physics-40 Questions

-Chemistry-40 Questions

-English Proficiency-15 Questions

-Logical Reasoning-10 Questions

-Mathematics-45 Questions

So be prepared for the exam because competition is very high nowadays.

Number of seats will be around 2000 and cut off will be prepared in the basis of the seats.

BITSAT Exam is conducted by BIT(Birla Institute of Technology,Ranchi) for taking admission in Undergraduate program's in extensions centers of India and abroad.There are 3 courses in which you will able to take admission in BIT Mesra.These courses are :-

• BCA(Bachelor of computer application).
• BBA(Bachelor of business Administration).
• B.sc IT(Bachelor of science in Information Technology).

For each course there is different eligibility requirements.Its details are as follows :-


BCA

• You should be passed out in Intermediate from recognized university.
• You subject combination can be from any stream.
• You must have studied mathematics at 10+2 level.
• Your minimum marks in 10+2 should be above 60%.

BBA

• You should be passed out in 10+2 from recognized board/university in any discipline.
• Your minimum marks in 10+2 should be 55%.

B.sc(IT)

• You should have a passed out in 10+2 in science stream from recognized university/board.
• Your subject combination in 10+2 should be Physics,chemistry and Mathematics.
• Your minimum marks in 10+2 should be 70%.

Exam Pattern :-

• This exam will include questions from 5 sections.
• Each sections will include 25 questions.
• Total duration of this exam will be 2 hour and 30 minutes.
• Total marks for this exam will be 250.

Exam Syllabus :-

• Reasoning.
• Numerical ability.
• General Knowledge.
• English Grammar.
• Computer/Economics.
