I want to get the details of BITSAT.
Can anyone of you provide me the eligibilities
for giving BITSAT? Please help me to know about this.

BITSAT is an entrance examination which is conducted by BITS, Pilani for admission to all Integrated First Degree programmes in BITS campuses. Eligibility criteria required to appear in BITSAT examination is mentioned below :-

--> You should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

--> Only Students who are appearing for 12th examination in present year or who have passed 12th Examination in last year are eligible to appear in the upcoming BITSAT test.

BITSAT is entrance test conducted by private body for admission in various courses available in BITS (Birla Institute of Technology and Science).

Eligibility criteria for BITSAT:-

i)Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary examination in 10+2 system from a recognized central or state board with PCM(Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics)

ii)Candidate must have scored 75% marks overall in 10+2 with minimum of 60% marks each in PCM.

iii) Candidate appearing for 10+2 are also eligible .

iv)Candidate who had passed 10+2 examination in 2013 or above will not be eligible irrespective of the fact that he/she fulfill the other criteria.

v)Candidate already studying in any BITS campus are not eligible.




Any central or state board toppers will get direct admission irrespective of their BITSAT result but need to fulfill the eligibility criteria and have to provide the certificate from their respective board showing /mentioning the first rank.

BITSAT stands for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani offers various Integrated First Degree programmes at its Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses.

For admission into these programmes BITS, Pilani conducts an all-India entrance test popularly known as BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) every year.

BITSAT is a computer based online entrance test and first of its kind in India.


Eligibility Criteria:

Birla Institute of Technology and Science has regularized several eligibility criteria for those candidates, who are applying to appear in the admission test. The eligibility criteria are given below.


> Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Board or its equivalent with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

> Candidate should have obtained minimum 80% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together in qualifying examination and at least 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

> The first rank students having Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 system / its equivalent from all central and state boards are directly selected irrespective of their BITSAT score.

> The students, who are appearing in 12th examination in the current year or who have passed in previous year only, are eligible to appear in BITSAT exam.

> The students, who have passed 12th examination year before previous year or earlier, are not eligible to apply.

> The students, who are presently studying at any of the BITS campuses, are not eligible to appear in BITSAT.

The eligibility to apply for the BITSAT are following:-

-The candidate must have completed 12th class in 10+2 pattern of education with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.

-The candidate must have secured a minimum of 75% in aggregate in 12th class examination and minimum 60% in each subject i.e.Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.

-The candidate must be proficient in English.

-The candidates who have passed the 10+2 exams in 2014 are eligible to appear for BITSAT 2015.The candidate who have passed the 12th exam before 2014 is not eligible to apply for the BITSAT exam 2015.

BITSAT is the entrance examination conducted by the BITS for admission in various undergraduate courses .

The eligibility criteria for this is :-

* Candidates passed the 10+2 from a recognised board .
* Candidates must have scored at least 75% in the PCM with at least 60 marks in each of the subjects .
* Candidates must have well knowledge of English .

For this year the application form for UG course is closed . So you have to wait for next year .

The examination is online based . The admission is on the entrance examination merit list .

Those candidates who have completed their 10+2 from a recognized Board in the country are eligible for BITSAT exam. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Candidates must be proficient in English also.

Deadline to apply for BITSAT 2015-February 20, 2015 (upto 5 pm)
BITSAT 2015 Test Dates -March 1 to 21, 2015
BITSAT 2015 Admit Card-April 15 to 30, 2015
BITSAT 2015 Online Tests-May 14 to 29, 2015

BITSAT 2015

For admissions into courses like B.E (Hons), B.Pharm (Hons), M.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc (Tech) - BITS Pilani conducts an online entrance test in designated test centers for all the candidates who apply on or before last date.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission into various BITS Campuses like:-

• Pilani, Rajasthan
• Goa
• Hyderabad, Telangana
• Dubai

You should have passed 10+2 or 12th examinations from a recognized central or state board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects. And you should also obtain 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as aggregate for three subjects and individually you have to score at least 60% in each of physics, chemistry and mathematics.

To apply for BITSAT exam, candidate should have completed their 12th standard with minimum aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology subjects, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects. If you can satisfy this criteria, you can apply for BITSAT exam. And the important thing is that, candidates who have completed their 12th standard in 2015 or who have passed 12th Examination in 2014 are only eligible to appear in the BITSAT exam 2015.

Eligibility Criteria Required to Apply for BITSAT Exam:

>> Only candidates who are appearing in 12th Class Examination in that year's academic year or who have passed 12th Class Exam in the previous year are eligible to appear in BITSAT Test.

>> For BITSAT 2015, Candidates appearing for 12th Class in 2015 or who have passed 12th Class in 2014 are eligible to appear in BITSAT 2015.

>> Candidates must have obtained minimum of 75% aggregate and 60% marks in each of the subjects to be eligible for BITSAT Examination.

BITS, Pilani is one of the finest institution in India. It conducts the entrance examination every year for admission to different course like Integrated courses and bachelor's courses. BITSAT 2015 notification has been already released. Last date for receipt of application has been closed. The examination will be held in the month of May.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology from a recognized School or equivalent qualification. The Applicant must have obtained at least 75% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology subjects at intermediate level, with minimum 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology subjects. The applicants who are appearing in the final year of board exam may also apply. Those who have passed 12th examination last year may also apply.

Pattern of BITSAT:

-Physics - 40 Marks
-Chemistry - 40 Marks
-English Proficiency - 15 Marks
-Logical Reasoning - 10 Marks
-Mathematics / Biology (B.Pharm) - 45 Marks

You need to have 75 percentage in your 12th in subjects - Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry along with proficiency in English to be eligible for BITSAT. If you are studying in 12th, you need to have Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as your subjects and your results will be checked when admission will be formulated. For other details, kindly refer to the attachment given below.

• According to the notification released by the BITS, the eligibility criteria for a candidate appearing in the BITSAT is as follows :

* The candidate should have passed the 12th standard with at least 80% marks aggregate.

* The minimum marks in PCM taking together should be 60%

If you fulfill the above criteria then you are very much eligible for writing the BITSAT examination.
