i want to know the number of seats in m.tech in iiitb.and is there any restriction that only qualified candidates should apply in iiitb?

The institute on an average admits 450 candidates for the Undergraduate programmes and 450 candidates for different post- graduate programmes every year. On an average 20 foreign students are admitted.

dear friend, in iit b...there are 120-130 seats for m.tech students and there are 25 scholarships to meritorious students joining the M.Tech Program.......

the number of seats are very limited,first you have to mention the branch you are interested in joining only then we can tell the number of seats in that branch and more over to get admission you have to be a qualified student

there may be around thirty seats with all the quotas combined and yes only qualified students are eligible,

you have not mention which department you belongs to.

but as a overall if you rank within 1000, then you can get chance in IITS.

but i can give you a rough figure.

the total number of seats for any branch is about 30 to 40.

the number may vary.number of seats depends upon the infrastructure of the institutes.

how many marks a general category student should score to get mtech cse seat in iit's?

I m A-level student(2 year duration) of science and i ain't from India..I'm upto my preparation for GCE-A level exam for May/June 2011 session..I am totally new to IT and wanna start it from beginning ! Had few questions that i wanted to know:-
1. Wanna know the procedure of applying to IIIT-B.
2. What are the extra requirements.. I mean..Are TOEFL and SAT cumpulsory?
3. Duration of Course for Software Engineering.
4. Total expenditure during the course.
