I want to appear for National Eligibility Entrance Test 2018. I have my OBC certificate dated 24/11/2016, is it valid for NEET -2018? Is there any time limit for OBC certificates or it is valid for life time?

The validity of the OBC certificate Non Creamy layer is just one year. OBC Certificate has to be renewed each year. You can renew the certificate by applying for it at the district office of one's own city or district. For that you need to deposit the income certificate along with the application letter to renew the certificate. Normally new certificate is issued within two week of application. Once you get the new certificate you may apply for NEET 2018.

Generally in OBC certificate there will be Creamy layer and Non Creamy layer.
The Non-creamy layer OBC certificate has the validity of one financial year.
Financial year for example means april 2017 to march 2018.
So, as per the information mentioned by you definitely you need to take an OBC non creamy layer certificate because as mentioned earlier after every financial year, non-creamy layer certificate must be renewed.
I think you have an idea of taking an non creamy layer certificate if not go through the below steps:
1. Gather the required documents like Income certificate , renew form , id proofs.
2.Visit you District Office/MRO's office and fill in the required renew form.
Just wait for few weeks then you will get your required certificate.
Take it and make a xerox of it and use it where ever required like applying NEET etc.

Sir, while applying for neet 2019, i had obc - non creamy layer certificate valid upto 21.05.2019. if i am not able to renew or get fresh obc - ncl certificate while attending mbbs counseling 2019 what will my status whether i will denied to admit into mbbs or not.
