Eligibility for NEET 2018 exam
Sir, I have scored 72 in biology 55 in physics and 45 in chemistry in 12th and I belong to general category. So, am I eligible for NEET 2018 exam or not. Please tell me.

To be eligible to appear in NEET 2018 examination, you should have passed Higher Secondary or Intermediate course with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects with minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ ST) marks with English as one of the subject in the qualifying examination from a recognised board. The maximum age limit to apply for NEET 2018 examination is 25 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. Since, you have passed 12th standard with PCB stream, you are eligible to appear in NEET 2018 examination.

> You should have scored minimum 50% marks in PCB and mathematics subjects from a recognized board. > You must be an Indian citizen. > Your minimum age should be 17 years and should not exceed 25 years. > There are total 9 attempts for general candidates ad 14 attempts for SC/ST/OBC candidates. |

Below I have mentioned the eligibility criteria for NEET examination:
> Candidate should be a citizen of India. > Candidate should have cleared HS from a recognized board to give this exam > Candidate should have studied physics, chemistry and biology as compulsory subject in 10+2 level to sit for this exam since it is for science students only > At 10+2 level Candidate should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together > For SC/ST candidates there is a percentage relaxation. They need to get 45% of marks inspite of 50% of marks in PCM. > Final year students can also apply for this examination > Candidate's minimum age should be 17 years when applying for this exam > There is an upper age limit of upto 5 years for the reserved category candidates. > Candidate will be allowed to give this exam for 3 times only. |

Eligibility Criteria for NEET Exam
Educational Qualifaction:- The candidate should have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised board. Candidate must secure minimum 50% marks (General) 40% mark( SC / ST / OBC),45% marks (General,PH )and 45% marks ( SC/ ST/ OBC- PH)taken together in PCB subjects. Candidates who are in the 12th standard can also apply. Nationality:- Candidate must be the citizen of India. Age limit:- The minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum age limit is 25 years. |

NEET Eligibility:
Applicants have to be a citizen of India. Applicants must have passed their 10 + 2 with PCB from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks and relaxation of 5% is reserved for reserved candidates. Minimum age should not be less than 17 and maximum should not exceed 25 years whereas age relaxation is given. There is no limit for number of attempts. |

Eligibility to appear in National eligibility come Entrance Test:
The candidate must have done 10 + 2 with PCB from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks and relaxation of 5% is given to reserved category candidates. Minimum age should not be less than 17 years in the year of admission. |

Basically there is a certain educational qualification required to be eligible for appearing in NEET Examination. As far as my best knowledge is concerned, you may not be eligible for appearing in NEET Examination. >> You must have completed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology subjects and English as one of the subjects in order to be eligible. >> The minimum percentage required in 12th Class is as follows, * For General Category Candidates - 50% marks * For SC/ ST/ OBC Category Candidates - 40% marks * For PH Candidates - 45% marks |
