One can become News Reader/News Anchor only by doing MBA or other courses are available as well?
HI friends, I wanted to know whether I can be a news reader/news anchor only by virtue of my MBA degree or do I need to go for some kind of specialized course to land a good job. Please let me know the course details and the best institutes, preferably in Hyderabad. Thanks in advance.

# Followings are the job and responsibilities carried by a news anchor or news reader:
* A News Anchor/Reader has to able to compile new stories and able to deliver them properly. * Must be able to think quickly and highly alert. * Must be able to perform well in front of camera. * Must be able to craft the stories in accordance and suitability for television. # Actually, there is no any definite specialised degree or course which help in getting job of news reading or news anchoring. But in general the degree in Journalism and Mass Communication is compulsorily required. # Tips for becoming news reader or news anchor are: * It is advisable that candidate must have bachelor degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. * It is advisable that candidate may join any concerned institute where course or training in news reading is provided. * There are lot of examples where reporters/correspondents gradually move to the job of news reading or news anchor. * It is again advisable that candidate should go for internship with any reputed agency, broadcasting agency or any newspaper. * Candidate has to made ready the audio and video tap of himself/herself regarding work done on-air and delivered it at various news channel. # Followings are the qualities are required by the aspirant: * Must be innovative. * Must be creative. * Must have news ideas for the presentation and development of the news. * Must be able to read well. * Must have excellent communication skill. * Must have thorough research and knowledge for each news. # Initial remuneration for a news anchor or news reader generally lies better Rs. 1,20,000/- to 2,50,000/- in India. # Followings are the disadvantages observed in the life of a news anchor or news reader: * Hectic life of a news anchor or news reader. * Have to work for longer and irregular hours. * Have to work on public holidays, festivals and weekends without any break. * The life of a news reader or news anchor is always at stake.
