Sir i have passed out 10th this year.now i have to choose a stream in 11th class.so my question is physics,chemistry,mathematics with computer is good or physics,chemistry,mathematic and biology is good...i'm not good in biology but i can manage to pass in it in board exams..

Both PCM with Computer Science and PCMB have value in their own respective ways.
After taking PCM with computer Science you can have a future as an Engineer and can have a prosperous life as there is great scope in today's ever changing technological world.

After taking PCMB too you will be having great range of scope after class 12.

Now it totally depends on your personal interest and capacity to handle the given subjects..

Both are different field and both field are have good higher study.

if you can choose PCB in 10+2 then you have scope of MBBS , BDS , B-PHARM etc.

if you can choose PCM with computer science in 10+2 then you have scope of BCA ,BBA ,B-TECH etc.

so you can choose any of these subject.

PCM with computer will be a good option as you will gain nothing with biotechnology but computers will certainly help you a lot in case you decide to do computer engineering in your college life

Friend both the stream are best that is P/C/M with computer or P/C/M/B.

You have to work very hard in both the stream.

You chose what you want.
If you want to become engineering then don't opt biology.
But if you to want to become doctor then you have to opt Biology.

In my opinion physics, Chemistry, maths and Biology have more option.
After passing 12th with PCMB you can apply for both medical and engineering..

I would like to add something more in your question and that is whether you are intreasted doing courses in your native land or abroad?
First of all if you get an opportunity to get into biotechnology it would boost your carrier to heights along with a post hradiation course in the same field.
Another option is p.m.t. i.e. enterance for m.b.b.s. Courses but merely being a m.b.b.s is no big deal today,you got to be a master or a specialist.So if time is a constraint do not opt for becoming a doctor.The best option as i quoted is biotecjnology and beware of becoming a dentist unless you do not have a family business as dentistry.
Another option for you is doing b.sc alongwith m.sc in chemistry,evey door gets unlocked after doing the prescriprion i just mentioned.

Sir, this year I passed ICSE with 90.6%{Maths-98,English-86,Science(Phy-B,Chem-A,Bio-A)-88,HCG(Hist.-B,Geo.-B)-86,Computer Application-95}.........in class 11(ISC) I chose PCM .Now my question is that which optional sub. should I choose-----Computer Science or Economics(I do not like Bio.)........I want to take the optional sub. where I can study less and get more marks....Actually I am preparing for IIT-JEE in a pinnacle course by FIIT-JEE so it doesn't really matter what I choose computer science or economics....I want to choose the sub which is gonna be more marks scoring and would require comparatively lesser studying.......Actually Sir , I know that I'll face great pressure due to the pinnacle course so I want to take the easier choice between computer science and economics.......Pls answer early Sir, I have to make the choice quickly......Thank You

There are only two subjects that will play a vital role in building your future.This subjects are :

• Mathematics.
• Biology.

As you are going to take science stream in class XI and in XII.Thus you will have to decide first in which you want to make your future.


A)If you want to make your future in Engineering field then you will have to take Physics,Chemistry along with Mathematics.


B)If you want to make your future in Medical Line and you want to become a Doctor/Bio-Technician then you should take Physics,Chemistry along with Biology.

Entrance exam which will give you chance to build your future

A)If you want to become an Engineer and interested to do Engineering course then you will have to apply for JEE(Joint Engineering Entrance Test) conducted by the IIT-JEE.

B)If you want to Medical Course/want to become a Doctor then you will have to apply for CBSE NEET Medical Entrance test.


However you can study all these subjects.It can be as follows :

• You can study Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics as a compulsory paper in class XI and XII.
• You can Keep Biology as your Extra paper in class XI and XII.
• You can take Computer Science as a Optional Passing paper.

Dear Friend,

Both options i.e. PCMC or PCMB are good and have their own advantages and disadvantages.

If you want to go for Engineering then you should surely choose Physics, Chemistry, Maths with Computer Science.

However, if you want to keep both options open i.e. Engineering or Medical then you can go for PCM with Biology.

However, it may not be a very good idea as it will be difficult to clear both examinations and you may be nowhere at the end.

So, decide about your future now and then choose either of these three options:

1. PCM
2. PCB
3. PCMC
