I want to know for bank clerk how much percentage we required?

Diploma or 12th pass outs can apply for clerical posts in banks. 50% marks is needed to apply for the same. Relaxation in marks is given for reserved categories. SC/ST candidates need to get 55% marks in this level. Higher age limit for the same is 28 years. To get selected for this post, it is essential to clear bank recruitment tests followed by a personal interview.

Bank Clerk examination need not any percentage criteria in graduation.

The eligibility criteria for bank Clerk examinations are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any stream from any recognised college or university.

* Percentage criteria is not required.

* Final year contenders are not eligible.

* Age limit:- 18-28 yrs.

* Nationality:- Indian.

The selection procedure for the bank Clerk examination is mentioned as below:-

* Written examination.

* Personnel interview.

Bank Clerk examination syllabus:-

* Quantitative Aptitude.

Institute of Banking Personnel Services conducts the Bank Clerk exam on the behalf of 19 Public Sector Banks. There have been recently some changes in the qualification criteria for this exam.

Earlier candidates who had completed 12th and even 10th were eligible to appear for the IBPS Bank Clerk. However the participating banks requested the Institute of Banking Personnel Services to change the criteria.

Therefore on the request of Public Sector Banks, now a candidate to apply for IBPS Bank Clerk exam need at least a graduation degree. Unless you have graduation degree you can not appear for the Bank Clerk.

If you have completed graduation then apply for Bank Clerk without any hesitation. There is no percentage criteria for this exam. IBPS Clerk is conducted twice in a year.


IBPS Clerk Eligibility

1. You must have graduated from college.

2. No minimum percentage in the graduation course is required.

3. Diploma or degree in computers is required.

4. Else you should have studied Computers as a subject in college or high school.

5. Must be fluent in the official language of the state where you want job.

6. Minimum age is 20 years to apply for this exam.

7. Upper age is 28 years to apply.

OBC - 3 years.

SC/ST - 5 years.

PWD - 10 years.

SBI conducts the Clerks exams for its own banks

Eligibilty for the SBI BANK CLERKS exams:
12th Pass with Minimum 60% marks or Graduation Pass
Age should be between 18 and 28 years


Eligibilty for the IBPS CLERKS exams:
Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass
Age should be between 20 and 28 years

In both these exams OBC candidates gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations


So, you can only apply for both IBPS Clerks and SBI Clerks exams after completion of your Graduation.

The Two Organizations which generally conduct the Banking Examinations are :

These two organizations conduct the Banking Examinations for the following posts :

The Qualifications That you need to fulfill for the Banking Exams are :

* You must have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.

* Candidates in final year of graduation are no longer eligible to apply for the Banking exams.

* The Age Limit for the Bank clerical Exams :

b) For OBC Candidates : 18-31 years

There two types bank clerk exam is conduct in India - SBI Clerk and IBPS Clerk .

Those candidate have completed 12th standard with above 60% marks OR completed graduation degree , are applicable for SBI Clerk exam.Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years old.

If you have completed graduation degree OR if you have completed diploma degree then you are applicable for IBPS Clerk Exam.You must have knowledge of computer science .Your age should be in between 20 to 28 years old.

Age relaxation is provide for reserved category.

People with disability (PWD) –Gen- 10 years
PWD-SC/ST -15 years

IBPS stand for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection organization.

Eligibility criteria IBPS Clerk exam :-
