Minimum required percentage to seek admission in government colleges is 50%. Admission process also depends on the course and the institution selected for study. Admission to certain courses is done on the basis of qualifying examination marks. Candidate should qualify entrance tests to have admission to some courses. Usually admission to engineering and medical courses after 12th is done through entrance exams. Admission to B.A, B.Sc, etc is usually done on the basis of academic merit. Application for admission can be forwarded via the concerned college portal.
