Re: Possibility to get BEd admission for a candidate who quit BSc in 2nd year?
No, it is not possible to get B.Ed admission for a candidate who quit BSc in 2nd year .
Eligibility Criteria:- You must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognised University. Your aggregate in graduation must not be less than 50%. You must be a graduate in 10 + 2 + 3 pattern i.e no academic year lost during your graduation tenure. There must be no active back subjects in graduation and also in your previous academic career . Age limit :- The course in India that does not have any age limits is B.Ed. So, if you satisfy the above eligibility criteria than you can join this course at any stage of your life. But every University have their own entrance examination conducted for admission in B.Ed. General- 50% SC/ ST- 45%. |

Re: Possibility to get BEd admission for a candidate who quit BSc in 2nd year?
No, it is not possible for studying B.Ed.
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is a graduation level degree. The duration of the course is 2 years. The basic eligibility required for studying B.Ed is a graduation or bachelors or its equivalent degree in any related subject from any recognised university. Since you have not completed your bachelors level degree you are not eligible for studying B.Ed course. Firstly you need to complete your B.Sc degree in regular or distance mode and then apply for B.Ed course. |

Re: Possibility to get BEd admission for a candidate who quit BSc in 2nd year?
B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education and same is a professional teacher training degree course for which the minimum education required is a bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
So, having quit you three years bachelor degree course ( i.e; B.Sc ) only after two years, you are not eligible to pursue B.Ed degree course unless you complete your B.Sc degree course with the minimum marks requirement at Class 12th level. |
