HI,
No, you are not eligible for N.D.A exam after passing 10th.

If you want to apply in N.D.A the you have to pass 12th class from Recognized university or board.


N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibliey critrya:-
> Pass 12th with recognized univrsity
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citize of India
> Medically fit

No, Its not possible to apply for NDA Examination after completing your 10Th examination.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is Conducted by UPSC twice in a year for the Recruitment of these 3 wings :

>> Army wings
>> Naval Wings
>> Air Force Wings

To apply for these wings, you have to complete your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects form a recognised Board. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for NDA Examination.

Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA Examination, but for this your age should between 16.5 to 19 years. There is no upper age relaxation is applicable in NDA Examination.

The Notification of NDA Will be Published twice in a year in the employment Newspaper or in the UPSC Website and eligible candidates may fill the NDA Application form Online by visit the UPSC Website.

So, please complete your 12Th examination and then apply for NDA Examination and for more information about NDA then please check official website :

NDA is the National Defense Academy which is an all India entrance examination conducted by the UPSC every year to select candidates for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.


The Basic Eligibility Criteria's for appearing in NDA are :-


1. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or college with science stream.

2. Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years as in the year of applying.

3. You should have studied Physics and Maths as Compulsory subjects if you wish to apply for the Indian Navy or Air Force.

4. You should be physically fit.


--> Now as you ask, that whether or not you can apply for NDA right after completion of your 10th boards, I am really sorry to say that you cannot.

--> You need to be a minimum Higher Secondary pass from a recognized board to be able to apply for the NDA.

So, go for 12th first..
