I want to become a scientist in physics subject .so is it possible to take physics in iit institutions

Definitely it is possible to get admission in an IIT for studying Physics.

The following institutions do offer courses in Physics through IIT-JEE.

5 year M.Sc. course in Physics
IIT Kanpur
IIT Kharagpur
IIT Roorkee

5 year M.Sc. course in Applied Physics
ISM Dhanbad

4 year B.Tech. course in Engineering Physics
IIT Bombay
IIT Delhi
IIT Guwahati
IIT Madras

4 year B.S. course in Physics
IISc Banglore.

Yes my dear you are very much eligible for this aspect. It is done somewhere in B.Tech. and some IITs give the degree of M.Sc.. I have mention what about I know :
