Re: Is private doctor a 1st class gazetted officer?
Quote:
Yes doctor is a gazetted officer Only if he is a MBBS and working in a government institution. Gazetted Officer is a Government Officer And they are of 2 types, first Central Government Gazetted officer and second State Government Gazetted officer. So, MBBS Doctor working in a government or run civil hospital is gazetted officer. So private doctor is not come under Gazetted Officer. |

Re: Is private doctor a 1st class gazetted officer?
Quote:
In India, a official Central Government Publication named Gazette publishes the promotions of certain government official. Those officers whose name appears in Gazette are termed as Gazetted Officers. Indian Govt has employees classified as class 1 to class 4. All class 1 employees are Gazetted officers. Class 1 employee examples are: All India services, though posted to states; promotees from states to the cadre of Assistant Commissioner and above and to the cadre of All India services ; Police officers of Circle Inspector and above; Additional District Civil surgeons, Executive Engineers and above, District Medical Officer and above, Lt.Col. and above, Principals of Government colleges and above, Readers and above of Universities, etc. So, these officers can attest a photo, xerox of certificates etc. Apart from them a Public Notary, Magistrate can attest also. |

Re: Is private doctor a 1st class gazetted officer?
Hi
A doctor will be considered as a gazetted officer only if he has completed his MBBS from a recognized government college and currently he is working in a government institutuion. A gazetted oficer can attest the information of tha candidate which is taken as the proof of the candidate’s personal information, may it be for educational qualification, for bank account, marksheets etc. Therefore if the doctor about whom you are talking here is woking in a government hospital or any other government institute then the doctor is ranked equally as the gazetted officer, else he’s not. Gud luck. |

Re: Is private doctor a 1st class gazetted officer?
No, Private Doctor is not a Gazetted Officer.
Those who are employed by either Central or State Government and declare by the Government to be Gazetted one and whose name has been published in Official Gazette for the purpose by the Government, is a Gazetted Officer. MBBS Doctors employed by State or Central Government declared as Gazetted officer. |
