Procedure for admission in AMIE

AMIE is Associate Member of Institution of Engineers. This is one of the course which provides engineering degree and is recognized by all the state governments of India. To apply for this AMIE examination a candidate needs the following eligibility criteria.

Education Qualification
For the AMIE candidate should have a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent in any branch of engineering.

OR

10+2 pass and should have Physics, Chemistry and Maths at 10+2. Also candidate should have not less then 45% marks in the 10+2 examination.

Procedure for admission
This examination is conducted in the first week of June and December every year.A candidate can appear only 4 times for this examination.A candidate hs to attach the following the documents along with the application.

1.Two passport size photographs affixed on the application form.
2.Attested copy of Matriculation or School leaving certificate.
3.Attested copy of 10+2 certificate.
4.Attested copy of your Diploma certificate.
5.Demand draft of Rs 3565/- drawn in favour of ‘Institution of Engineers (India)’, Payable at Kolkota.

I have passed section 'A' IN SUMMER 2011. How can I take admission in section 'B'. I have received registration form by 15-10-2011 and have to send it within 17-10-2011, please assist me to how can I do this. As I am staying in Delhi. I WANT TO APPEAR IN WINTER 2011 EXAM FOR SECTION 'B'.

I am Naga. Now i am studying diploma last year in civil engineering. I have completed 5 semisters now i am doing project work in hyderabad. I want to do AMIE after diploma. I have some doubts about AMIE i.e
1.How to apply for AMIE ? How can i get Addmission?
2.Duration of course in civil engineering
3.When i apply for AMIE?
4.If i will apply for AMIE , can i write exams in december?
