hay i'm a parth and i'm studying in diploma at the mumbai and i want a admission in degree coll. in gujarat.

my friend told me that i have to give an exam for the admission...
so what's the process for get a admission..

please tell me

You will be required to appear for GUJCET exam which is an entrance exam conducted by Gujrat board.

10% of seats are reserved for diploma students so if you manage to get good marks in that entrance exam you will get admission in the degree college there.

Also you can try to go for lateral entry in colleges there.

GUJCET 2011 Information booklet & GUJCET 2011 Application Form was available on 9/12/2010 to 27/12/2010 during 11-00 hours to 17-00 hours.

Cost of Application form is 250Rs.

This year Gujarat State Education Board will hold Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2011 on 07th April, 2011 .

If you are thinking of getting admission in B.Tech Mech then you will have to
pass out GUJ-CET common test conducted by gujarat state to get admission in
any college of Gujarat...
For Diploma students entering Degree engineering,,,alltogether 10% seats are available...
so you can score good marks and take your admission in B.Tech Mech.
