sir i am 6th semester from computer science branch i am doing summer training from drdo so please give me a procedure for drdo training ......

i m cse 3rd years student and wants to know the procedure for applying summer training in DRDO.

if you want to do summer training of DRDO some instituide are given-

1:Cardea Biomedical Technologies Pvt. Ltd
2:IKON InfoTech
3:Institute of Engineering Studies (IES)
4:VANI Institute of Engineering and Technology (VIET)

to apply for training in DRDO first you have to contact with the training department of DRDO. they will just give you details about the training and information about the application procedure.


then issue a training letter from your institution addressing to the training department of DRDO. for more information on training letter contact with your institution's training cell. after issuing the training letter from your institution submit the training letter and the application form to the DRDO office. after processing your application if you are eligible then they will confirm you.


there are so many student those are trying to get training from DRDO. but few of them get chances. if you have nay relative working in DRDO and if he refer you then it will be very much easy for you to get the chance for training.

Hello,

Yes you can do training in DRDO.

In DRDO, generally 3rd Year & 4th Year candidates are allowed for DRDO training.

For Training In DRDO, You may contact to the training & placement officer of your college & through your college you may contact to the personnel department or HRD of DRDO.

The personnel department or HRD of DRDO helps & guide you regarding training, training schedule, training duration, training fee etc.

If you really want to get trained in DRDO then first of all you will have to get a authorized letter from head of the institution with seal.And contact the DRDO training Labs likes CABS(Center For Air Borne systems),Defense Electronics Application Laboratory (DEAL) etc.

no 2nd year students cannot apply

For DRDO you must apply for it ..but friend i suggest you
if your college is 1 tier or 2 tier then you apply and if you have reference then you apply ....
otherwise many students apply for DRDO
so only few students will get the permission ..

you can do summer training if you have blood relation source in drdo.

to apply for DRDO-SET
ensure that the eligibility conditions are satisfied, you are required to apply in the Electronically Scannable Application Form

The application form with information brochure containing the syllabus and instructions for filling will be available at designated Branches of State Bank of India as per the advertisement

The filled in Application Forms should be submitted to The Director, Recruitment & Assessment Centre, Luchnow Road, Timarpur, Delhi - 110 054 by 5th June 2009.

training is provided by DRDO in summer vacation(jun - sep). so you have to apply for it in between jan - march.
If you have any contacts like any relative is working at DRDO then it is easy task for you to get it.
if not then ,in a group of 8 to 10 members make bonafide certificate from the college and visit the campus of DRDO (if possible) and handover the certificates in HRD section of drdo. you can also post the certificate but chances are less.

There selection criteria based on:
1. first oppurtunities to employees of DRDO
2.final year students
3.merit basis
