As to join M. Sc. Marine Biology, a B.Sc. degree is required with branches in life science as a main subject or a B.Sc. Fishery Science. Candidates are required to have at least 55% in the qualifying exam. Also candidates are required to participate in the CAT, which is conducted only in Kerala state. B. ADMISSION TESTS.

B 1.The Common Admission Test (CAT)
Marks and Scoring
The CAT score will be calculated as per the formula, S = 3R - 1W, where S is the CAT score, R is the number of right answers and W is the number of wrong answers.
Negative marks will be given for each wrong answer. In case of a tie, the existing University norms will be followed.
