IAS exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

UPSC IAS exam Application form are filled manually.

UPSC IAS exam Application form are sale in Post Office.

UPSC IAS exam Application form cost = Rs. 20 /-

UPSC IAS exam Application form fee = Rs. 100 /- (CRFS Stamp by Post Office)

the date not yet announced.......if it announced you have
--to buy the form from your nearest regional post office ,cost of the form is Rs.20.

--acknowledge card postage stamp Rs.6.

--after that you should fill the form,satisfy eligibility conditions.

--post the envelope containing application form to the prescribed address.

hi it can be applied through online an offline process
on line process is to visit the website
http://www.upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php
by visiting the web site there will be two registrations
u can follow the procedures through on line there the cost is 100 rs u can pay through ATM or u can take the chalana form, there is no fee for women,SC/st candidates.
offline is apply go the head post offices in Ur district or Ur town there is upsc applications the application costs of 20 rs and a crf(central recruitment stamp) it costs of 100 rs and paste it on the application where it is mentioned and after pasting the stamp u want to cancel the crf stamp by the post office and u can post the application

The Notification was already released.See the Employment News 19 - 25 feb.

Important dates :

Date of Notification : 19.2.11

Last date for receipt of application : 21.3.11

Date of Examination : 12.6.11

Please get ensures that is your form has been accepted or not and if your form has been selected then you need not to apply offline. One can apply either offline or online. Please visit the below mention website for more info

Procdeure to get application form for IAS 2011:-

(a) Candidates may apply Online by using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in Detailed instructions for filling up

online applications are available on the abovementioned website.

(b) Candidates may also apply Offline in the Common Application Form , which can be purchased from the designated Head Post

Offices/Post Offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 30/- (Rupees Thirty only).


Both online & Offline forms must reach by 21st March, 2011.

Exam will be on 12th June 2011.

if you fullfil the eligibility criteria then you can fillup the form for ias both online and offline.
for offline you contact to nearseyt postoffice,and for online u can fillup the form on www.upsc.gov.in
the offline form have a cost of 50 rs for general candidate.

in applications given in post office its given column 1 to 19 as mandatory n those not filling these columns,their applications will be rejected....but minority and physically challenged columns are not applicable for me..nor crf stamp column as i belong to st category.wat do i do?plzzzz help

The selection procedure will be by
-CSAT (civil services aptitude test)
-Civil services main examination
-Interview.
