My daughter is in class 12 and appearing in higher secondary examination in 2014 in science stream.i am seeking to get her admitted in engineering.
Please let me know that what engineering stream is most demanding in india in recent days as far as job,salary as well as prospect is concerned?

As engineering stream or branches is concerned there is no such official ranking available by the Government,but as there are so many it is difficult to choose the best one,all have good prospect but i am providing you the best available options.

Generally there are four engineering core branches which will always have the best prospect no matter what the market is going through they are
1)Electrical Engineering
2)Electrical and Communication Engineering
3)Mechanical Engineering
4)Civil Engineering
Above four are the best in any scenario in any situation,they will be at always top in all situation.

Apart from above four there others best one
1)Computer Science
2)Information Technology
3)Electronics and Instrumentation
4)Chemical Engineering
5)Electronics and Applied communication

These are considered best after above four,but there are others also who have good fortune and opportunities Marine engineering,bio-chemical engineering,plastic technology,food technology,aviation technology all are good.
