Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) conduct a Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) every year for the admission to its B-Tech and other courses offered at the IIT Mumbai, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Chennai, IIT Kharakpur, IIT Guwahati , IIT Roorkee, IT Varanasi and ISM Dhanbad.

If you have completed 12th examinations from a recognized board with physics ,chemistry and mathematics then you are applicable for IIT-JEE exam.But your 12th marks must be above 60% .

You can apply here consecutive 2 years.You can apply here prefinal year of 12th standard and after this year.

The minimum age should be 17 years old and maximum age should be 25 years old.

No because the exam is conducted in month of April and you would be 16 only.So you cannot apply for IIT-JEE

Eligibility Criteria-

Candidate should have passed 12th exam with any recognized board. Final year of 12th students are also appear in this exam.
Those student who have passed 3rd or 4th year Diploma recognized by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education can appear in this exam.

Age should between 17 to 25 years. SC/ST and PD category candidate get 5 years relaxation in upper age limit.

The student who have passed in final examination of +2 (Class XII) or its equivalent qualifying
examination in the year 2012 or 2013 or Those appearing in +2 in 2014 are eligible to appear in
JEE Main 2014. 2011 passouts or before are not eligible to appear in JEE Main.
Students who appeared in class 12in 2011, did not pass in 2011, but passed in 2012 are also not
eligible. Students must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th.

The minimum age is 17 years

The maximum age limit for appearing in IIT - JEE is 25 years.

For candidates belonging to SC and ST and PD categories, The relaxed age limit is 30 years.

10+2 or equivalent pass candidates are eligible to write exam.

The number of seats available in total is about 5500.
