Hello sir iam studiying 12thclass iam going to appear for inter 2nd year xams in 2012 march how many marks should we gain in nda to join in air force

One no need to secure any minimum of percentage of marks in Intermediate in order to be eligible for NDA Exam. NDA Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

By cracking NDA Exam, a candidate can join to any of the defence services like
-Army wing
-Navy wing
-Air Force wing

In order to be eligible for Army wing, one should have completed 12th with any of the stream. But in order to be eligible for Navy or Air Force wing, one should have completed 12th with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects.

One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for NDA Exam.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to appear for NDA Exam. Only candidates of India are eligible for NDA Exam.

If you are interested and if you fulfill the eligibility criteria, you can appear for upcoming NDA Exam on 15-04-2012.

Hats off to you friend for your desire to join the Air Force and serve the nation.

The NDA examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.The general criteria to apply for the NDA examination is that the candidate should have passed class 12th.A class 12th appearing candidate can also apply for this examination.The age of the candidate must be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

There is no marks criteria imposed in Intermediate examination to apply for the NDA.But to join Air force you should science background with subject combination Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.

For NDA criteria for giving exam:-

*Candidate pass minimum 12th science
*Must be an Indian
*In 12th Math, Physics,Chemistry as a subject.
*Age- 16.5 to 19 years
Age relax for SC/ST candidate as per Govt. Rules.

In a year NDA exam is conducted twice a year
but this exam is on February,October month.

2012 NDA exam Important DATES:-



Last date for Online Application :30.01.2012 (MONDAY)

Off-line: All off-line applications must reach the controller of examinations, UPSC, Dholpur House, Shahajahan road, New Delhi-110069 either by hand or by post/speed post or by courier on or before 30.01.2012 30.01.2012

However, in respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain remote localities specified in the notice the last date for receipt of applications by post/speed post only (not by hand or by courier)

Hello friend,
To join the Indian Air Force after qualifying +2 level of exam, you must have studied maths and physics in the same.
Apart from qualifying +2 level of exam with the prescribed subjects, you must be within the age limit of 16 1/2 years-19 years.
No matter how mush you scored in the +2 level of exam, if you've qualified, you are eligible to apply for NDA exam.
The examination is conducted by union public service commission-UPSC and to know more about the exam, refer to the official website of UPSC.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in every year to recruit students for different sector in defense like- ARMY, AIR FORCE, NAVY....

Eligibility for NDA exam:-

1.ARMY Wing:-

The candidate must have complete the 12th or its equivalent from a recognized central/state education board with 60% marks....

2.AIR FORCE and NAVY:-

The candidate must have complete the 12th in science with physics , maths and chemistry or its equivalent from a recognized central/state board with 60% marks....

Age eligibility:-

The candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years..

So, if you fulfill all these criteria then you will be eligible for appearing in NDA exam...

NDA -NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY entrance examination is conducted by UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA is usually held twice every year.

There is no need of any particular percentage of marks in Intermediate to join NDA.

The required educational qualification is 12th pass from any stream for Army wing of NDA

AND

For Naval and Air Force wing 12th pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject is required.

Examination for NDA-I will be held on 15th April 2012 for which last date for application will be 30.01.2012

The candidate should have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. The candidate should also have to satisfy certain stipulated medical and physical standards to be eligible for entry to NDA.

through this examination one can get admission in any one of these streams -
1. naval branch
2. air force wing
3. military branch

the minimum requirement for apply in this exam, you must have 12th degree in PCM (PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY.MATHS). Also for apply in NAVAL & AIR FORCE WING you must have to score at least 60%. in 12th with PCM .
for military branch you just have 12th degree from a recognized board.

the age limit for this exam is 16.5-19.

also you must have citizen ship of India & having marital status unmarried.

NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY[NDA]

This examination is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION[UPSC] every years for two times.

Through this examination one can apply for all the combatants branches of INDIAN army for their officers ranks post.
i.e.
naval wing
air force wing
military branch...

For appear in this examination , you must have at least a 12th from a recognized board [for military branch].

For apply in NAVAL & IN AIR FORCE WING ,you must have physics & maths with at least 60% in 12th.

The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,.there is not any kind of age relaxations are applicable for any reserved category.

You must have Indian nationality with marital status unmarried.

NDA - National Defense Academy is an exam that is organized by the UPSC every year to recruit for the Indian Army, Air Force and Naval wings.

Eligibility :

1. A candidate should be 12th pass from a recognized board or school with a minimum 50% aggregate.

2. Only unmarried male candidates can apply.

3. Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

4. Maths is a compulsory subject to have studied in 12th if applying for Indian Navy or Air Force wings.

Notification for NDA 2012 is already out, last date to apply is 30th January 2012.

Exam date is 15th April 2012.

Sir, now i just completed 2. I would like to join NDA . I didn't apply for nda undil now. Now how can i apply for NDA?

* NDA Stands For " National Defence Academy ".

* The NDA Exam is conducted by he UPSC Two times in a year as NDA-I & NDA-II.

Now as per your ask , i would like to tell you that there is no such percentage bar that you have to get a certain % of marks in 12th only then you are eligible for the exam.

The thing that matters is that you should have passed 12th with PCM as your key subjects from any recognized board.


Also , at the same time , you have to fulfill the other essential requirements for the exam too.
