Re: Required percentage in BA for getting admission to B.Ed course?
Hai, The require percentage in any graduation for doing B.ed is 50% of marks. After completing the graduation you need to write an entrance exam for doing B.ed. In that entrance exam you need to qualify and get a seat for b.ed. There crew two ways to complete B.ed. 1.Regular. 2.Distance. In any way you have to complete your B.ed. All the best:-) |

Re: Required percentage in BA for getting admission to B.Ed course?
It is good that you are interested towards the B.ed course after your bachelor degree course.
For being eligible in the B.ed course , the basic eligibility criteria is to have bachelor degree in any stream. Also you must have to score minimum 50% marks in your graduation degree aggregate. So dear aspirant if you have scored 50% or above percentile in your BA than definitely you will be eligible for B.ed. Regards, JSD |

Re: Required percentage in BA for getting admission to B.Ed course?
Percentage criteria or requirement is different in various universities. Generally student should have above 50% marks in graduation. In BHU it is 55% marks. Some private colleges can take admission in very low % also. You have to just pass graduation anyhow. But if you want to do b.ed from better institutions then you should try to pass out your graduation with 1st division.

Re: Required percentage in BA for getting admission to B.Ed course?
The minimum percentage required for Any graduate to enrol for B.Ed is 50%. Most of the distant learning universities also asks for experience certificate from School principal. Any govt or private reputed and UGC recognised University needs minimum 50% marks for admission in B.Ed.Some even ask for higher percentage as well. There are certain Private colleges which have some backdoor admission procedure where low marks candidates are allowed. But that is highly risky and dangerous and not advisable.

The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to B. Ed. is that the student must be a graduate in any discipline. The candidate must either have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) or Bachelor in Commerce (B. Com.) from any recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Also, if the student has completed their postgraduate degree, then minimum 55% marks in aggregate is the criterion.
The duration for the course is of two years. The two years are structured in a way that the courses are taught not only through classroom learning but also through seminars, practical and internship. The course offered through distance learning has the duration of minimum two years and maximum five years. |
