Re: Required qualification and age criteria to pursue LLB course?
It is good to see that you want to become lawyer. There are two graduation courses in the law field that you can apply for. First one is integrated LLB and second one is LLB course.
Before going ahead I will like to point out that there is no difference between the two courses on merit. The integrated LLB has duration of 5 years and it includes a graduation degree such as Bachelor of Arts and the LLB course. You should apply for this course after completing 12th standard. To apply for this course you will have to appear for the Common Law Admission Test and upon clearing it you will get the admission for the integrated LLB course. Eligibility 1. Student need to complete 12th standard. 2. There should be 45 percent marks. 3. SC/ST need 40 percent marks. 4. The age of student should not be more than 20 years. 5. 22 years is the limit for SC/ST. If you have completed graduation then there is no need to apply for integrated course. There is no point of doing the bachelor course again. Such candidates should apply for the LLB course of 3 years duration. Eligibility 1. Any graduation degree is needed. 2. 45 percent marks in graduation. 3. 40 percent marks for SC/ST. 4. The age limit is 30 years. 5. It is 35 years for SC/ST. |
