You can pursue law regardless of the bachelor degree you have. If you are meeting the percentage criteria then there should be no issue in apply for the law course.

You will have to pursue LLB course. The Bar Council of India only recognize LLB course. There are some other law courses that are offered through correspondence. But they are invalid as per the Bar Council of India.

You will not be allowed to practice in the court as the lawyer with such degree. With correspondence courses you can only think of becoming legal advisor in some company. Even then company would prefer a LLB candidate.

To pursue LLB you need to have bachelor degree in any discipline. These days very few colleges are offering LLB since most have shifted to the integrated LLB course. This 5 years duration course is not for you since it can be taken after completing 12th.

LLB Eligibility

1. A bachelor degree from any recognized university.

2. At least 45 percent marks in bachelor course.

3. SC/ST candidates need 40 percent marks.

4. The age limit for LLB is 30 years.

5. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ST.

6. The criteria for OBC candidate is same as General.
