Re: Required Qualification to become a Police Officer?
The minimum academic qualification that is required for a candidate to become a Police Officer is by completion of Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.
Even the candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation can also be eligible to appear for this exam. But they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview. For this, you need to give civil services examination. This exam is the common written exam for the candidates to be placed in various civil services like -Indian Administrative Service -Indian Police Service -Indian Foreign Service etc. Initially you need to give CSAT Exam (Civil Services Aptitude Test). Once you have qualified in this exam, you have to give civil services main examination in your chosen subjects. Interview is the final phase of selection procedure. Have a glance over the required age criteria to appear for this exam. For General category : 21-30 years For OBC category : 21-33 years For SC/ST category : 21-35 years. Have good preparation for this exam and crack it. For updated information on this Exam, I suggest you to visit http://upsc.gov.in/ |
