Minimum Qualification required for CID officer?

->You should have completed graduation degree course in any specialization from recognized College/University.

->Your Age must be with in 20 to 27 years(relaxation of 5 years for ST/SC & 3 years for OBC).

->You should be an Indian citizen.



Required Height for the position of CID Officer?

Minimum Height for CID officer-> 165 cm
&
Minimum chest -> 76 cms.


-If you want to become an CID officer then you have to appear in Indian Civil Service Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) held once in a Year.

-I you qualify the civil service exam then you called for Personal Interview.

-To become CID you must have excellent Communication skill & leadership qualities.


Pattern of Exam:

Paper 1st

General test( duration 2 hr.) -

General intelligence and reasoning-50 marks

and general awareness-75 and numerical ability-75

Paper 2nd

English language (duration 2 hr.)-

language comprehension, communication/writing= 200 marks

and Ability test.

To join CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation) officer you have to appear for Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam conducted by SSC(Staff Selection Committee)

* Candidates should have a graduation from a recognized university.
Also you must be in citizen in India

Attempts:

For General category - 4 attempts.
For SC/ST category - No limit
For OBC category - 7 attempts

minimum HEIGHT : Male - 165 cm and Female - 150cm for General Category, for SC/ST/OBC the height for Male - 160cm and Female - 145cm.

age limitation
general category 20 years to 27 years
SC/ST category 20 years to 32 years
OBC category 20 years to 30 years

number of attempts
general category 5 years.
SC/ST category is Unlimited.
OBC category 7 years.

Also you must be in citizen in India.

The selection process is contain in two stage

In first stage written test:-

1)General question ---------- 200marks
2)English -------------------200 marks

In second stage you can faced an interview which is contain 100 marks.

a. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks
i. General Test
ii. General Intelligence and Reasoning
iii. General Awareness
iv. Numerical Ability

the minimum qualification is you should pursue any bachelor's degree from any recognized university. your age should between 20 to27 years.

minimum height: 165 cms
chest: unexpanded-80cms
expanded-85cms.

for Applying CID you have Crack the Entrance exam of Civil Service Exam.

Qualification for CID:

A candidate Should have completed their Graduation in Any Stream with at least 55% from Recognize Universities.

Age Limit should Not exist 25 years for General Category. there is a relaxation is available for SC/ST category up to upper Age + 5 years.

Interview

In order to become CBI/CID you will have to appear in IB/SSC UDC Exam.
You will get passed in all the Exams in order to get finally selected.

The Eligibility required in order to appear in this Exam is as Follows:-
