The minimum academic qualification that a candidate should possess in order to join Air Force is by completion of 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects from a recognized institute.
Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class with this criteria are also eligible to join Air Force. But, these candidates should be able to show the proof of passing in 12th class when they attend for Interview. The required Entrance Exam that the candidate should crack for this is NDA Exam. This Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. Candidates can join the following Defence services by cracking this Exam -Army wing -Navy wing -Air Force wing The selection procedure will be by -Written Exam -Interview After that the candidate has to go through respective Medical test. One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this Exam. In addition, one should be an unmarried male candidate to appear for this Exam. If you possess the above mentioned eligibility criteria, you can appear for NDA Exam. Have good preparation for this Exam and crack it. Intermediate (10+2) – Eligibility Criteria To join the NDA you need to fulfill the following requirements: Age - 16 ½ to 19 years* Nationality - Indian Gender - This is applicable only to men. Educational Qualifications - You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. You can, however send us your application during your 10+2; provided you meet the eligibility criteria at the time of joining the Academy. Graduate – Candidates short-listed after the initial selection procedure, go through a rigorous training regimen at one of the Air Force training establishments. Thereafter, they are commissioned as officers and posted at any of the Air Force Stations. As a graduate, you can fly into a challenging and rewarding career in the Air Force by applying for the suitable branch. 1. Flying Branch 2. Technical Branch 3. Ground Duty Branches. Al the best. |

Indian Air Force can be joined through following ways:-
NDA CDS AFCAT NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry into Indian Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an Unmarried Indian male having 12th qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years. CDS-COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Air Force Academy of CDS. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having Graduation Degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Engineering Degree from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 23 years. AFCAT- AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST conducted by Air Force every year for entry in to:- FLYING BRANCH TECHNICAL BRANCH GROUND DUTY BRANCH The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree course with 60% marks in any discipline from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 23 years for Flying branch, 18 to 28 years for Technical branch and 20 to 23 years for Ground Duty branch. HI!
After passing 12th you can join Indian Air force... For this you have to qualify the N.D.A exam... N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.. The age limit for N.D.A is 16.5-19 year.. There are three steep of selection:- > Written Exam > Interview > Medical exam If you want you can apply after passing the graduation also.. After passing graduation you have to qualify the C.D.S exam.. C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.. The age limit for this is 19-24 year... GOOD LUCK! |

You can join Air Force through NDA (National Defence Academy).
The Eligibility Criteria for NDA is given below : 1. Nationality : You must be a citizen of India. 2. Gender : You must be a male candidate. 3. Martial status : You must be an unmarried. 4. You must be physically fit. Educational Qualification : You must have qualified the 10+2 examination or any equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
