Requirements to get admission in B.Ed course at University of Mumbai after B.Com from Dubai?


I have completed B.Com from Dubai and interested to study B.Ed from University of Mumbai. What are the requirements to get admission in this course?

Candidate as you have done B.Com from Dubai want to join B.ED course in Mumbai university then you have to appear in CET(Common Entrance Test) exam carried out by Mumbai university to intake candidates for B.ED course.Here below are details to apply for B.ED in Mumbai university:-

>> Candidate for B.ED in Mumbai university applying candidate must be Indian citizen so as you have done B.com from abroad but you must be Indian citizen.

Qualification Required:- Minimum qualification required to apply for CET exam is bachelors with minimum 50% marks.

Exam Pattern for CET Exam:- There is only one written exam having 3 sections:-

For Candidate Opted for Hindi and Marathi language:-

Section I:- Mental ability problem solving consists of 40 questions and carries 40 marks one mark for each question.

Section II:- General knowledge problem solving consists of 30 questions and carries 30 marks one mark for each question.

Section III:- Teacher aptitude problem solving consists of 30 questions and carries 30 marks one mark for each question.

>> Exam consists of 100 questions and carries 100 marks.

>> The exam is of objective type and there is no negative marking.

>> The exam is in Hindi and Marathi language.

>> Duration of exam is 1 hour and 30 minutes.

For Candidate Opted for English Medium:- Candidate opted to study in English medium has to appear in ELCT(English Language Content Test) along with B.ED CET.

1). Reading Comprehension:- Consists of 20 questions and carries 20 marks.

2). Vocabulary focus:- Consists of 5 questions and carries 5 marks.

3). Grammar focus:- Consists of 8 questions and carries 8 marks.

4). Sentence Formation:- Consists of 7 questions and carries 7 marks.

5). Phonetics:- Consists of 3 questions and carries 3 marks.

6). Figures of speech:- Consists of 2 questions and carries 2 marks.

7). Verbal Idioms and Proverbs:- Consists of 5 questions and carries 5 marks.

>> Exam consists of 50 questions and carries 50 marks.

>> The exam is of objective type and there is no negative marking in exam.

>> The exam is in English language.

>> Duration of exam is 1 hour.

Yes, you are eligible to study B.Ed in University of Mumbai. There are few eligibility requirements which you need to fulfil and you need to submit few documents which are listed below.

Eligibility criteria:
- The candidate should have done their graduation degree with a fair percentage from any recognised university.
- The percentage varies based on the quota.

You can apply through NRI quota. You need submit your passport, your previous year score card and proofs for NRI candidate.
