To become a Divisional Railway Manager is not an easy job. u need to clear UPSC exams for that. UPSC conducts Indian Civil services and Indian Engineering Services exam every year. One need to clear these exams to become JS (Junior scale) grade officer in railways. If you are appearing for INdian Engineering services (for which only engineers can apply) you need to me among toppers (depending upon the vacancies) to get into railways. As per present policy after having a service of 25-30 years and with extraordinary track record one can become DRM in railways

You will have to complete graduation then give railway recruitment board's traffic apprenticeship exam then you can give promotional exam to which are three or four then you can become one.
