Should a student give CBSE 10th board exam or carry on with CCE pattern? Do we have to give FA3, FA4, SA2, Pre board and board exams?
Should a student give cbse 10th board exam or carry on with cce pattern?
If 10th board then we'll have to give fa3,fa4,sa2,pre-board&board exams? but we have already given sa1,so we'll be giving sa2 also..then 40% of marks will be counted or not? what about course...full course will come? |

He should continue with board exam by giving SA2.
Don't worry about that 40% marks? Of Course, full course will come. |

I think student should carry on with CCE pattern which will surely decrease the burden of syllabus of final exam.
According to CCE, 40% marks (of 40% syllabus) are included from regular tests and 60% marks(of 60% syllabus) are included from the final exam in the marksheet. In CCE, students are not required to give pre-board, fa3, fa4 only regular tests that will constitute 40% marks in marksheet from 40% syllabus. |

If you are opting for CBSE BOARD EXAM then you need not have to give Regular Tests and board exam in your own school.
After opting CBSE BOARD exam, you have to give fa2,fa4,sa2 and pre-board 1, pre-board 2 and at last CBSE BOARD EXAM in a centre out of your school. |

After choosing board, you will have to give all these i.e.FA 1,2,3,4 and SA 1,2 Preboard -1,2 also. Question Papers will be of same difficulty and pattern as of home examination.
Benefit of board exam is nothing. |

Re: Should a student give CBSE 10th board exam or carry on with CCE pattern? Do we have to give FA3, FA4, SA2, Pre board and board exams?
I think CCE Examination is much better than board exam. According to this 40% marks in the marksheet is included from regular tests before final exam and 60% marks is included from final exam (or home exam) in your own school. No need to give sa1, sa2, fa1,fa2, pre-board 1,2,etc. Only regular tests that will constitute 40% of your marks in marksheet.
Syllabus will also be less in CCE pattern. 40 percent for regular tests and 60 percent for final exam. |

Re: Should a student give CBSE 10th board exam or carry on with CCE pattern? Do we have to give FA3, FA4, SA2, Pre board and board exams?
1) To go to any other state you must give CBSE board exams. As per a declaration from central board - "For those who are willing to change their board may appear for the central board examination."
2) (interpretation of the declaration) If you give board exams you may not enter any of what is CBSE affiliated ie. If you give central boards you may be kicked outta school and not be re admitted, and you may not enter any schools that have CBSE board affiliation. 3) "Even if you give board, you may continue in your schools, it is compulsory for those who are opting to change their boards, and if you will stay with CBSE, you shall continue, evenif you give the central boards" - Ajmer's CBSE board affiliated sources. you may very well contact arbitrarily, the schools and senior secondary plus, to confirm the above mentioned informations for yourself, the above mentioned, the first two, are the sources provided in our very own school [Saint Paul's (city name may not be mentioned. You may track my ip as you like.)]. I've confirmed the above mentioned, the first two, from Ajmer's CBSE board affiliated and they informed me that you may give the central boards if you are going to change the board. If you want to stay in CBSE board as is, then also you may give central boards, you shall not be kicked out of CBSE or anything. If you are not giving board then you can not change your board in future. DISCLAMATION!
