Bachelor’s degree in any subject area with 60% Marks from a recognized University or Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology of 4 years with 60% Marks. Candidates must be passed 12th Examination with Maths and Physics. Age Limit: 19 to 23 years as on 01/07/2013 i.e. born between 02 July 1990 to 01 July 1994 AFCAT 2012 Important Dates: i. Online/Offline applications will open on: 09 June 2012 ii. Last date for receipt of Online/Offline applications: 09 July 2012 iii. Last date for Receipt of Application (far flung areas): 16 July 2012 iv. Date of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 02/2012: 26 August 2012 v. Courses Commencing in July 2013 |

::SOLVED QUESTION PAPER OF AFCAT EXAM:: Educational Qualification for AFCAT Exam 1.Flying branch :- Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade, but must have maths and physics in 12th.. Candidates age should be in between 19-23 years. 2.Technical branch:- Candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field. Age should be in between 18-28 years. 3.Ground duty branch:- Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade. Age should be in between 20-27 years. It consists following four section-Verbal Ability,Numerical Ability,Reasoning,General Awareness and Aptitude. I have attached the Question Paper of AFCAT exam .So please check it out.This paper are really helpful for you.You can follow the proper pattern for AFCAT entrance exam. Air Force Common Admission Test or AFCAT exam is conducted by the Indian Air Force. To give this examination you need to satisfy certain eligibility criteria. Some of them have been stated below: Educational Qualification: For Flying Branch: You need to be a graduate in any discipline or you should have a B.E./B.Tech degree with not less than 60 percent of marks at graduation level. For Technical Branches: You should have a four years' duration B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognized institution or you should have passed section A and B exam of AMIE India. For Ground Duty Branches: For the Administration and Logistics Branch you should have minimum 60 percent of marks at graduation level or 50 percent of marks at post graduation level. Marks should be calculated by putting together the marks of all papers. For Accounts Branch you need to have a graduation degree in commerce with not less than 60 percent of marks or you can have post graduation degree in commerce or ICWAI or CA degree with not less than 50 percent of marks. For the Education Branch you need to have a post graduate degree in any discipline and you need to secure 50 percent of marks at post graduation level. Age limit: For Flying Branch: Your age should be between 19 and 23 years. For Technical Branch: Your age should be between 18 and 28 years. For Ground Duty Branch: The age for candidates with different qualification is different. For eg, for graduates the age limit is 20-23, for post graduates it is 20-25, for LLB students it is 20-26 and for PhD, CA or ICWA students it is 20-27 years. Scheme of Syllabus: The question paper will consist of 100 questions all in all which you need to answer in two hours. For each right answer you will get 3 marks and for each wrong answer one mark will be deducted from your original score. So answer very cautiously.
