Important Dates for SSC CGL 2016 Tier- I

Starting Date of registration procedure :-13th February 2016

Examination Date (SSC CGL 2016 Tier-I) :-8th and 22nd May 2016

SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission and it conducts examination for recruitment of candidates in different government jobs.

CGL examination is also conducted by SSC and the eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed graduation degree from recognised university.

The application for 2016 examination is released now and the last date for filling the application form for examination is 10th March 2016. For more information about examination visit at www.ssc.nic.in.

SSC conducts Combined Graduate Level examination for different posts under government departments. All graduates from any discipline from a recognized university is eligible to apply for examination. The age limit is 18-27 years for majority of posts and upper age relaxation for candidates of reserved category. The important dates for SSC CGL examination is as below:

Registration for SSC CGL 2016 started from 13th February. The last date to apply for SSC CGL 2016 exam is 10th March, 2016. Examination is scheduled to be conducted between 8th May to 22nd May. You can apply for exam at www.ssconline.nic.in. Do not wait for last moment as site sometimes crashes.

Notification for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level exam has been released by SSC.

1. Registration began on 13th February, 2016.

The registration date for SSC CGL Exam has already started from 13 Feb 2016.

The last date to fill the Part-I registration of SSC CGL Exam is 21 March 2016.

While last date for Part-II Registration is 24 March 2016.

SSC CGL 2016 notification has already been released. This is an exam which is conducted by the Staff Selection Committee to recruit candidates in different posts of central government. This time around 15000+ vacancies are available.

Important Dates:-

• Online Application Date: 13th February to 10th March 2016
• Tier I Exam Date: May 8 and May 22nd 2016
• Tier II Exam Date: 13th and 14th of August

Eligibility Criteria:-

For Statistical Investigator: You need to have a bachelor's degree with statistics as a subject or a degree with mathematics as a subject with not less than 60% of marks.
Age Criteria: Upper age limit is 32 years.

For Compiler: You should have a degree in statistics or economics.

For Assistant Audit Officer: You should have a bachelor's degree with chartered accountant or cost or company secretary or you should have a master's degree in commerce or business administration.

For all other posts: You should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Age Criteria: 18-27 years.

Selection Procedure:-

• Tier I- Written Exam (MCQ)
• Tier II- Written Exam (MCQ)
• Tier III- Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test/Document Verification

Application Fee cost: Rs. 100 ( Women and candidates of SC/ST/PH category need not pay the fee)

The last date of registration of SSC CGL is 15 March. Registration will happen in two phases and last date of registration of 1st phase is till 10 March.

SSC CGL exam date for tier 2 has been postponed. Now tier 1 will be held in August 2016. tentative dates are yet not released.
Also Tier 1 will be only qualifying exam & mains score will be considered for final evaluation.
Mains will be in online mode too.
