CSIR conducts the CSIR-UGC-NET JRF/NET exam in the following subjects:

Chemical Sciences
Earth Science
Life Sciences
Mathematical Sciences
Physical Sciences

Since you have studied botany in post graduation, you can apply for the subject life sciences only.
In your Post Graduation exam you should have scored an aggregate marks of 55%
So choose life science only as a subject

There are below given Subjects to choose from when it comes to CSIR net.
1.Life science
2.Earth atmospheric and planetary Sciences
3.Mathematical Sciences
4.Chemical Sciences
5.Physical Sciences

When it comes to paper pattern it is a single paper of 3 hours of 200 marks. There will be two shift morning and afternoon. your paper may lie in any of these two shifts.
As you have done MSc in botany so the subject that you need to choose is life sciences.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
