Which subject to choose for NET SET exam? What is the syllabus of it?
i m doin my msc in statistics . i want to give net set exam .. can u pls tel me subject i shud choose and the syllabus for it

National Eligiblity Test This examination was conducted by UGC Twice in a year.The examination is generally done in the month of June and December every year.You can not apply for for the December examination but can apply for the June examination notification which notification is not yet announced . Only those students who have done post graduation can apply for the exams. ELIGIBLITY Those students who have got master’s Degree with 55% from universities recognised by UGC you can apply for the examination Final year students are also take the exam. Age limit :: For Junior Research Fellowship - You should be not more than 28 years. A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to SC, ST and for OBC candidates. For Lectureship - There is no upper age limit for applying for lectureship. Examination Pattern There will be total three papers in the examination .one paper is common for all students who have applied for the NET examination .Two papers will be done on the optional subjects which you have chosen . Paper-I :: It is done to test the teaching/research aptitude in the students. Question asked will be based on :: Reasoning ability Comprehension Divergent thinking General awareness. Paper-II :: Objective types and on the optional subjects Paper-III :: Descriptive questions on the subjects chosen by the students . List of optional subjects :: You can choose what you have studied in the post graduation |

SET examination is conducted in 29 different subjects and the syllabus for some of the papers is given below:
Education: Philosophical foundation of education. Sociological foundations of education. hello, i m C H B bases lecturer in a college . i had completed my M.C.A and scored 67% . i want to do NET set exam ,i want to also now my subject,about exam form and how it is condected.

Hi I have done my graduation in Geography and post graduation in Development Studies (which exactly is not in the list of NET subjects) so I want to know what is the subject in which I should give my NET??.please help as I am really confused.

I have filled the cbse ugc net December 2015 form with economics. and I'm in the final year of m.com (economic administration and financial management) .I'm doing my post graduation in economics as subject. but people are saying that economics can only be chosen by MA economics students..
but the bulletin says that students should give net exam in their post graduation subjects only and if the subject is not in the list then ,they can opt a related subject. can you please help |
