IES is a exam conducted for candidates to be recruited in Indian Government Engineering organizations.

You cannot apply for the IES exam with b.tech as the candidates who have finished their degree in engineering and that to they they must have completed in departments:

Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering,
Electrical Engineering
Electronics Engineering.
