At the age of 40 there is very less opportunities for employment. But if you want you can apply for higher secondary teacher or college lecturer post in government schools and collegea. You can apply for UGC NET exam for assistant professor post in government colleges. Candidates who have completed their post graduation with minimum of 55% marks are eligible for this exam. There is no upper age limit for assistant professor job. Thanks
