Is there any exception for M.Com(finance) holders in CMA? Can you please give me the right official details on the same? It will be helpful if you can guide me with the required information soon as possible. Awaiting for the quick response. Thanks!

CMA (Cost and Management Accounting) course is conducted by ICMAI. There are three stages of CMA course namely CMA Foundation, CMA Intermediate and CMA Final. Students who have qualification of bachelor's degree or higher are exempted from CMA Foundation course and can apply directly for CMA Intermediate course. So, you are exempted from CMA foundation course having qualification of M.Com (Finance).

CMA Course Stages

CMA Foundation Course
- Students of class 10th can apply for CMA foundation course and can appear exam of CMA foundation after passing class 12th.
- Qualify the examination of CMA foundation.
- Students who have passed graduation are exempted from CMA foundation course and can apply directly for CMA Intermediate course.

CMA Intermediate Course
- Register for CMA Intermediate course.
- Complete 3 days training of CSS (Complete Communication and Soft Skill).
- Complete 100 Hrs training of computer.
- Now you are eligible to appear for exam of both groups of Intermediate course.
- Qualify the exam of both groups of Intermediate course.

CMA Final Course
- Register for CMA Final course.
- Complete Industrial Oriented Training Programme (IOTP) of 7 days.
- Complete practical training of 3 years (6 months mandatory).
- Now you are eligible to appear for examination of both groups of CMA Final.
- Qualify both groups of CMA Final.
- Complete modular training of 15 days.
- Complete practical training of 3 years.
- Now you are eligible to apply and become member of Institute.
